(1) If the local body is unable to collect due to various reasons, it should make a plan to collect the outstanding amount. (2) According to sub-rule (1), the local administration, police, civil society or other persons may take the help of the amount to be recovered.
(3) If the arrears amount is collected after receiving assistance according to sub-rule (2), the local body may provide up to a maximum of 5 percent of the amount collected as a reward to the concerned person or organization. If due amount is collected due to the activity of more than one person or organization, such reward amount should be provided by Damasahi.
(4) If the amount cannot be recovered through the process as per sub-rule (1), (2) and (3), then the same amount as the government balance should be recovered.
